3D Modeller

Are you a tech-savvy individual with a keen eye for detail? Do you have an interest in architecture and enjoy creating 3D models? 
If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

At Briary Energy, we are currently seeking a talented 3D Modeller to join our team in developing detailed 3D models of residential buildings from architectural plans. These models will play a crucial role in our thermal analysis process, ensuring energy-efficient and sustainable home designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate and detailed 3D models of houses from architectural drawings and plans
  • Collaborate with the thermal analysis team to ensure models meet analysis requirements
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in 3D modelling
  • Continuously refine and improve your skills in 3D modelling and related software

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of 3D modelling principles and software (e.g., SketchUp)
  • Interest in architecture and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges

Energy Consultant

Briary Energy are a family run and award-winning consultancy, offering a friendly and diverse working environment, with opportunity for growth within our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Energy Assessment team, delivering building energy assessment services to a wide range of house building clients, with further training opportunities available both internally and externally for commercial building assessment, energy strategy statements for planning applications and wider sustainability goals.

Role

  • Part L Building Regulation compliance (SAP, OCDEA)
  • Report Writing
  • Support senior consulting team
  • Build specification consultancy
  • Engage in a client facing capacity delivering broader sustainability advice to clients throughout the construction process
  • Dynamic 3D modelling

Our goal is to see you develop into an integral member of the team, leading clients through a wide range of energy modelling in both domestic and non-domestic applications, in addition to offering a wide range of sustainability portfolio services such as TM59 overheating.

Required competencies and qualifications

  • On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA)
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, especially excel
  • Ability to learn new software

Preferable

  • CAD modelling experience and/or SketchUp
  • Knowledge of the construction industry
  • Reading technical drawings
  • NDEA Level 3/4
  • Energy Strategy statements

Graduate Energy Consultant

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Energy Assessment team, delivering building energy assessment services to a wide range of house building clients. Training will be provided as an On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) to allow you to assess dwellings for Part L Building Regulation compliance, with further training opportunities available both internally and externally for commercial building assessment, energy strategy statements for planning applications and wider sustainability goals.

  • Support senior consulting team
  • Build specification consultancy
  • Engage in a client facing capacity delivering broader sustainability advice to clients throughout the construction process
  • Dynamic 3D modelling

Our goal is to see you develop into a fully qualified, experienced and knowledgeable energy and sustainability consultant, creating positive working relationships with both your clients and colleagues.

Required competencies

  • Relevant degree qualification – Engineering, Maths, Science or similar
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, especially excel
  • Ability to learn new software
